FLETC Staff Administrative Leave and Training Resumption Update - 9/13/2017; 4:00 PM

The effects of Hurricane Irma continue to effect FLETC-Glynco, so administrative leave is being extended through Friday, September 15. Beginning 8 a.m. Thursday, September 14, Glynn County will implement Phase 3 of its reentry plan, which allows residents to return.

Please be advised critical infrastructure is still fragile. Due to the limitations of sanitary sewer, traffic control, and power there are hazards to public health that remain.

FLETC Charleston is scheduled to begin limited training Thursday, September 14. FLETC Glynco is scheduled to begin training on Monday, September 25.

Students evacuated to Douglas, Georgia, will continue to depart for their duty stations the remainder of the week.

The FLETC’s Emergency Notification System will be used to contact employees who are needed to assist during this time. Volunteers will be needed on Friday, September 15, to assess facilities. Anyone interested should report to Bldg. 147 at 8 a.m.
