FLETC Begins Reconstitution Efforts – 9/5/19; 11 am

Hurricane Dorian has passed through southeast Georgia, and FLETC-Glynco is currently implementing recovery efforts. 

Administrative excusal for weather-related conditions remains in effect for all FLETC-Glynco staff on Thursday, September 5, 2019, and Friday, September 6, 2019.  All FLETC-Glynco staff should report for duty at their normal times and location on Monday, September 9, 2019. 

Reporting times for FLETC-Charleston staff will be provided at a later date.

Training at FLETC-Glynco will resume on Monday, September 9, 2019.  In order to ensure training resumes in a safe and secure environment, FLETC-Glynco is requesting volunteers to assist with reconstitution of training assets, as well as damage assessments of all training venues and administrative spaces.  Volunteers are requested to meet at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2019, in the Main Conference Room in Building 94.  Additionally, volunteers are requested to assemble at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019, in the Main Conference Room in Building 94. 

Information will be posted on FLETC.gov; FLETC Social Media sites, FLETC mobile app, and 1-800-79FLETC (1-800-793-5382).  All personnel are encouraged to monitor those sites for the latest available information.
