Maritime Tactical Operations Training Program
Description
The Maritime Tactical Operations Training Program (MTOTP) involves extensive hands-on instruction pertaining to tactical boarding procedures aboard High Interest/High Threat Vessels (HIV/HTV). During the Laboratory and Practical Exercise phase, students conduct several underway “HIV-Low-Freeboard” tactical boarding operations utilizing a 65’ motor vessel. Students conduct boarding operations on several static boat platforms and conduct several High-Freeboard “Hook and Climb Insertion” techniques on a 494 foot long “break-bulk” freighter.
