Description

 

The Instructional Techniques for Non-Lethal Training Ammunition (ITNTA) is an advanced train-the-trainer program. It is designed to provide information and training in the safe use of non-lethal training ammunition and in developing use of force scenario-based training for agency firearms instructors. This program can be conducted at a state, local or tribal law enforcement agency’s training facility. This enables the training to be more accessible to non-lethal training instructors and provides a better understanding of  NLTA applications while utilizing their existing facilities.

Prerequisites

Applicant must be a full-time law enforcement officer/agent with arrest authority in the prevention, detection, apprehension, detention and/or investigation of felony and/or misdemeanor violations of federal, state, local, tribal, or military criminal laws or active military.
