Description

This program focuses on essential leadership skills for aspiring leaders. This includes an intense focus on knowing your own behavioral style and values, and understanding human behavior, belief systems, motivators, and emotional intelligence. The program also focuses on developing interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, team building, creativity, and problem solving. Instructors facilitate discussions on current leadership challenges and facilitate exercises for participants to engage each other and practice skills introduced in the program. The program is designed to foster open discussions and learn through interactive exercises.

Prerequisites

Must be a law enforcement officer/agent or law enforcement support personnel with a federal, state, local, or tribal organization.
