FLETC Welcomes Deputy Director for Training

GLYNCO, GEORGIA- Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) Director Connie Patrick recently announced the selection of Mr. William Fallon as the FLETC Deputy Director. He began serving in his new position on May 1, 2016.

Deputy Director Fallon has been a highly respected leader among FLETC’s more than 90 Partner Organizations, having served for the past five years as the Assistant Director of the U.S. Marshals Service’s (USMS) Training Division. Mr. Fallon began his career with the USMS in 1988, and joins FLETC with over 28 years of experience transcending both operational command and law enforcement training leadership roles. Director Patrick said, “Deputy Director Fallon has a stellar reputation among his superiors and peers as an innovative and mission-driven leader who can be relied upon to effectively train those who protect the homeland.”

In his new role as FLETC Deputy Director, Mr. Fallon will oversee all of FLETC’s law enforcement training development and delivery operations, including at four domestic training sites in Glynco, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Cheltenham, Maryland; and Artesia, New Mexico; as well as the training FLETC provides to state, local, tribal, and international law enforcement officers and agents throughout the United States and worldwide. He will also oversee FLETC’s efforts related to training research, innovation, and management. Deputy Director Fallon’s leadership and experience will help FLETC remain on the cutting edge of law enforcement training, working collaboratively with its partners, stakeholders, and staff to proactively address the Nation’s most challenging law enforcement training issues and deliver world class training to more than 65,000 law enforcement trainees per year.
