Fundamentals of Terrorism Training Program (FOTTP)

The dynamics of domestic and international terrorism necessitate law enforcement officers maintain proactive vigilance to predict and interdict terrorist events. Subject matter expert FLETC instructors and guest instructors discuss topics that offer insight into clandestine foreign and domestic terrorist recruitment, finance, propaganda, and operating tactics.

Instructors

Instructors in the Fundamentals of Terrorism Training Program are current and former Federal, state, and local law enforcement officers and military with substantial experience in planning and executing counterterrorism, special reaction team, explosive ordnance disposal, and intelligence operations in the United States and overseas.

Prerequisites for Attendance

Attendance is open to Federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, investigators, and emergency management specialists, as well as military and other U.S. Government agencies having law enforcement, emergency management, fire and rescue, and infrastructure protection mission planning responsibilities. Non-credentialed students must have the permission of the FLETC/CTD Program Manager to register for the course.
