State and Local Law Enforcement Training Symposium (SLLETS)

The Office of State and Local is conducting a State and Local Law Enforcement Training Symposium. This three-day training symposium offers multiple workshops that run concurrently, so participants may choose from several topics. This highly requested training will be taught by dynamic subject matter experts from federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.

  • Use of Force
  • First Responders Introduction to Digital Evidence
  • Officer Survival

  • Hidden Compartments
  • Authentication of Identity Documents
  • Gangs
  • Identification Theft and Stored Value Cards
  • Overview of Terrorism and Pre-Incident Indicators
  • Active Threat/Shooter

Tuition and Cost

TUITION-FREE (Attendees are responsible for travel costs.) Up to 2 nights of lodging will be paid for participants who live over 75 miles from the training site. Lodging information will be included in the confirmation notice.
