Drug Enforcement Instructor Training Program (DEITP)
The Drug Enforcement Instructor Training Program includes courses such as Informant Management, Surveillance Techniques, and Undercover Operations, and offers solutions to those problems unique to small towns and rural agencies. Courses focus on instructional methodologies and place emphasis on developing low or no cost training aids, lesson plans, and practical exercises. Students/trainers will participate in classroom instruction and program development in preparation for subsequent delivery at their home jurisdictions.

Tuition and Cost
Tuition is free. Students will be responsible for travel, meals and lodging.
Prerequisites for Attendance
Applicants must be full-time, sworn law enforcement officers, seasoned narcotics officers, and be committed to provide training in small towns and rural agencies upon completion of the program.
