Resource Guide for Law Enforcement
Up one levelStaff at the Office of State and Local Training (OSL), Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), compiled the information for your convenience. The FLETC does not speak for the mentioned agencies, and information in the handbook should not be construed to convey a commitment of resources or funding. The availability of the listed resources may change without notice, depending on budget and other factors.
The authors of the Law Enforcement Resource Guide have focused on the needs of small town and rural (STAR) agencies, and have attempted to list only resources that would be useful to these agencies. We ask ourselves the following questions to determine whether an entry should be included:
- Is the resource free or offered at a minimal cost?
- Is the resource available to STAR agencies?
- To reduce the financial impact to the STAR agency, is there a toll free telephone number to access the resource
- Are constraints, limitations, or guidelines for use or acquisition of the resource clear and easy to comply with?
You are encouraged to copy this booklet and disseminate it to others. Your input and feedback are important to the Office of State and Local Training (OSL) staff. In an effort to continually meet your needs and maintain an accurate and useful reference, we encourage you to offer suggestions and new resources. For additional copies of the Law Enforcement Resource Guide or to offer your ideas, please contact the editorial staff.
