Office of State and Local Training
Up one level
Celebrating over 28 Years of providing low cost and tuition-free training to state, local, campus and tribal law enforcement officers across the nation.
The Office of State and Local Training (OSL) at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) provides tuition-free and low cost training to state, local, campus, and tribal law enforcement agencies. Programs are conducted at select sites throughout the country and are usually hosted by a local law enforcement agency in the area.
The introductory and advanced training programs OSL delivers are developed with the advice, assistance and support of federal, state, local, tribal and campus law enforcement agencies. Training is continuously updated to ensure accuracy and relevance to today’s issues.
If you would like to receive periodic training notices from us, please complete the Training Notices Sign Up Form.
Additional training for rural law enforcement is also available from FLETC's Rural Policing Institute. Go to www.fletc.gov/rpi for course information and qualification requirements.
